Latest Works out of the Studio

This page will be updated regularly with new works as they become available -
also see Available Works - Birds or Mammals for all available originals as there are other paintings not included here,
and see the Drawings page if you might be interested in pencil studies & sketches or full presentation drawings.

Some of these paintings have not yet left the studio, others are included in current or recent exhibitions:

Ngaio Fine Arts Eastern Intrigue Group Exhibition 16 August - 29 August 2009 includes two of Colette's works:
Juvenile Goose (oil on panel 305 x 560mm) and Portrait of a Snow Leopard (oil on panel 275 x 295mm).

Ngaio Fine Arts also has Colette's Just a Whisper - Caracal and Sparrows.

Currently on the easel is Amur (Siberian) Tiger and Leopard portraits, also Cheetah, Ocelot and Snow Leopard study.  Other works in progress include Pallas Cat, Wildcat sleeping, Shelduck Ducklings.

International Art Centre's Winter Salon group exhibition in August 2008 included six of Colette's oil paintings
Amur Leopard Study (siberian leopard) (sold), Snow Leopard (sold), Young Otter (sold),
Little Egret Study, Mute Swan Study and Shelduck Duckling (sold);

Ngaio Fine Arts New Gallery Opening Exhibition 31 August - September 2008:
New gallery opening group exhibition introducing their artists - Colette's artworks included Prairie Dogs II and the
large graphite drawing ' The Welcoming Committee ' (Chinese Geese).
' The Welcoming Committee' may seem a fitting title for an art gallery opening piece, but the drawing was always going to be named that as these birds are always there to greet you when you venture into their territory in their home at Staglands Wildlife Reserve. There's another reason for the title, the female geese are heavy with eggs!
